Kenwood Stereo in 5KCS problem

I didn't catch the original post on this one, but I'd recommend against using a Power Antenna lead to supply the REM signal to an amp.  I've done this accidentally (poorly coded wire colors) and it will likely produce a nasty 'pop' in the amp circuit when you power up the headunit.  Antenna leads are designed to supply 12volt accessory power to run an antenna motor, while a REM or remote lead is designed to provide a low voltage 'signal' to the amp to power up when the headunit comes on.  A antenna lead should not be used to power an amp either.  The current demands from an amp far exceed the intent of an antenna lead.
