Voltage regulator brush replacement/soldering ?

Silver solder is pretty high temp stuff.  It's used to put  attachments onto threaded firearm barrels, making
them legally, for the time being and last I heard, "permanently attached".  These would be for those items
that are not allowed to have threads on the barrels anymore.

So, I'm thinking it's higher temp than regular 60/40 stuff.

But it sure sounds like something that a jeweler would use at a lower heat.  Maybe there's something
similar that's easily confused with it?
