engine compression q's

hi guys, when i bought the 90q (ng) i had plans of doing a turbo conversion,
i did of course forget the compression ratio is too high for more than a few
psi boost,  luckily (maybe)though my 90q seems to have a kv bottom end and
ng top, any ideas if the compression ratio will be any lower? as i
understand it the only difference between kv and ng bottom ends is the
stroke, i understand ervything else is pretty much the same. so the question
is does it have an ng or kv crank?, and how can i find out my current
compression ratio without stripping the motor? thanks all.
