interfacing to 200 amplified speakers

Dan,
I have a '90 200 avant... I recommend just bypassing the rear speaker amp,
it really only works well with the factory Gamma or Delta radios. Just
forget the Awia pre-amp out unless you are going with an aftermarket power
amp. Your Awia head / deck unit has more than enongh power to drive the
stock rear speakers. Just clip the wires at the door posts, tape the Audi
amp leads up, and run new lead wires from the Awia to the clipped speaker
wires at the rear door posts and you'er done. Now you front and rear
speakers will be balanced right, and you will have great sound from the
stock rear speakers. Hey, very easy to put back to stock too.
