Hmm, yes- need more information on this one.

We're talking about a 44, right?  Was the question in regard to the
"brake" idiot light, or the "brake" red autocheck triangle?

AFAIK the switch in the lever operates the idiot light and not the
autocheck; while the three things I mentioned operate the autocheck and
not the idiot light.

Also AFAIK any problem with operating pressures or other stuff the
mechanic would have found would trigger the autocheck but not the idiot
light.
