Bosch out of the blade refill business?

Hi Tony,

I experienced the same thing just last weekend, and then I found some refills at BAP Import Parts.
However, when I bought them and tried to put them into my original Bosch/Audi blades, I found they didn't
fit. The Bosch style being sold now has a trapezoidal type clamp profile, while the older ones have sort of
a "tophat" type of a profile.

So, I ordered some replacement blades from TPC. They are the cheaper of the two styles, at $7.50. The
LAPS (lol) had them at about $9.99.
Rod wasn't able to tell me if the Excels and the cheaper ones had interchangeable refills, so I got the
cheaper ones, since those are the refils that BAP (http://www.bapimportparts.com/) had.

So, Bosch themselves probably still make them, but the local non-specialty places would rather sell you
the whole Bosch blade, or their non-Bosch brand refills.

It's kinda funny how often we all end up revolving around the same tasks and questions like this.

Hth,

Ken
