I would describe it as a conversion to diesel from gas, using parts from older models, or perhaps new
parts. But the focus would be that it was a diesel conversion, not a backdating.
I agree it would be hard if not impossible to get something like this legally registered.
Perhaps describing it as an alternative or hybrid fuel vehicle would be better than calling it a diesel.
