Fellow listers please excuse me for posting this on the list but I tried
contacting Bill directly and was unable to.
Bill Hi from Greece,
apart from the RS2 that I drive I also happen to own two ex Camel Trophy
Land Rover Discovery 200Tdi turbo diesel cars.
One of them I have it modified with a larger intercooler, hybrid turbo and
recalibrated diesel fuel pump.
I am considering fitting a propane kit too.
What brand of propane kit are you using?
Are you happy with it?
Have you seen any increase in power or decrease in fuel consumption?
Would you recommend it?
Sorry for asking so many questions but I believe it is best for you to know
exactly what are my main concerns about the propane kit.
Thank you in advance for your kind reply
Best regards from Greece

> Hey, I just thought I'd put my two bits in on this one. Grease is a very
cool thing to do to an old diesel. In fact, I have a 1980 Rabbit with a
built turbo diesel motor, hybrid turbo, big intercooler and propane
injection. The Turbo-Grease car is very cool, light, and fast. The big
problem is working on a diesel injection system. Apparently, if everything
is working perfectly in the pump, the car works great. But if you have any
little leak your car will only idle. Unfortunately the little leak was
starting to convince me to push the car off the nearest bridge, so I had a
diesel place work on it.
