I'm not sure how this works, but there apparently are antispam programs out
there that are sensitive to the history of an ISP having a client that has
issued spam or has been the faux issuer of spam (one of those deals where
an offshore spammer lists the client as the "from" source even if it isn't
actually the source) and then the antispam program rejects any mail from
that ISP.  My provider for my e-mail and for hosting one of my commercial
websites hosts a bunch of commercial websites, all with an associated
e-mail address.  Any of those addresses can become a fake "from" address
and then subject the ISP to these stupid antispam programs.  There are
several Q-List participants with such programs enabled on their
systems.  I've gotten two or three off-list inquiries from them that I
cannot respond to because their antispam program "suspects" my address and
bounces my replies.
