I'm selling the engine and transmission together from my 87 5kcs tq. The ca=
r was in a passenger side accident, not worth fixing. The car was driveable=
and was driven after the accident. The engine does run. The trans was repl=
aced with a used unit from Force 5 auto. The clutch was replaced by the pre=
vious owner and seems very good. This is the run down:
Engine: You will get the engine without ecu, knock, rpm, and reference sens=
ors. No starter (I needed it for my 200). You get the engine. No accessorie=
s=2E You don't get an alternator, ps pump, compressor, etc. You don't get t=
he fuel system. Basically, you don't get anything that's bolted to the car.=
Like I said, the engine wasn't damaged, and was running after the accident=
. I did drive the car and it ran and drove fine. If you want and ecu, and/o=
r electrics, I do have them and am willing to sell. I used some of the sens=
ors (the p.o. was using bad ones, anyway). The cylinder head was changed at=
one time. The exhaust manifold was replaced, as well, although I can't gua=
rantee against cracks or future cracking. Oil cooler stays with me because =
I use a custom setup. Will sell with package for extra, if needed. Timing b=
elt & wp was done by p.o.

Transmission: A used unit from Force 5 Auto. Can't say how many miles, but =
Chris gave me a good unit that felt tighter than the unit that was in the c=
ar. Clutch is good and no hint of slippage. Axles and rear driveshaft ar no=
t included, but will sell separately. The axles have good boots, may have b=
een replaced or rebuilt recently.

I want to sell them together, in one piece, to one buyer. It reduces compli=
cations in selling. The reason why I put up so many "what you don't gets" i=
s because I've dealt with people coming by to get stuff and they always wan=
t more and try to deal or steal. I wanted to be perfectly honest and leave =
nothing out. I was going to pull the two units and rebuild them myself, but=
I'm gonna stick with 200's from now on, along with going away to school fo=
r a semester, along with a car blackening my driveway.

I feel $250 for each (buying both) is a very fair, no haggle price based on=
not wanting to haggle and wanting to not waste a good engine or tranny whe=
n I scrap the car. I'd rather a Qlister gets them for cheap over a junkyard=
ripping someone off or wrecking it.

BTW- I did spend a few days removing many things that hold the engine to th=
e car to make pulling it easier. I'm willing to offer my help in the remova=
l=2E

I'm in NY, on Long Island. email privately.

Thanks,
Steve
