With all due respect, I think this is a legend.

IMHO.

Audi just ran out of parts sometime in early 97, and with nothing else to do,
since the new production line for the 80/90 coming out later that year was in
place. They had to use the new parts.

It is good that you don't have to swap the rear axle(like I did), and have the
NG engine, but that's it.

VAG has done this before in other countries(fact), why not here.

I would say just enjoy your new passion, and call it the way you want.
