90s AC charging

I recharged my system last year on my '95 90Q after I replaced the leaking
evaporator. If your car is 134a you can get everything you need to do it
yourself. There is only one port and it is on the high pressure side; near
the condenser in the front of the engine compartment if I remember
correctly. The charging procedure is well documented in the Bentley for the
car. I bought a set of InterDynamics gauges and the recharge kit from the
local R&S Strauss. Most parts chains will have the equipment. It was not
very difficult. Hook up the gauge to the high side along with the Freon can
as per the instructions. You will charge up to a certain pressure based on
ambient temperature. After charging to pressure start the car, turn on the
A/C and verify the operating pressure. If the car is discharged, you have a
leak and will need to use Freon with leak detector to find the source.

Cheers,

Tim

All,

Where is the access point to charge an A/C system in a 1993 90s?

Thanks,
Michael
