It doesn't sound like the guy knew how to handle his car, it
sounds like the guy was inattentive, a fatal flaw at those speeds.
How can you miss approaching a line of cars at that speed?
Did the Benz do anything dangerous going past you? To me, it's
fine as long as he didn't do something like pass on the inside
at those speeds. I had a 928S4 do that to me in my truck once-
he was doing about 140, I was doing about 65, came up really, really
fast, blew by me in the right lane.

Just food for thought: Area reps/track eventers?
Anyhow, my vent: Happy 1 Mass Tags Baby Benz convert buzzed me on 93 in
NH at 2:PM doing 120MPH. Not cool: my lumber toting ancient truck was
doing 68. His fellow co-hort boxster was slower at 110MPH. Since baby
benz engauged the ABS against a line of 6 cars at 70MPH in a panic I
knew the guy had no idea how to handle his car. Lewzer. -Scott in BOSTON
2) Why are 6 Audis cruising at 100mph in tight formation across the
Midwest in the middle of the night?
