'90 90 CV boot

Hi all,

Working on my friend's car again it's a '90 90 FWD Auto.

She needs new tires but since the sticker was a couple of months out of
date and I was in a hurry I took the wheels of my '90 90 and put them on
her car to bring it to get inspected.

So anyway last night I switched the wheels back and found her right front
cv boot had let go since last weekend when I swapped them the first
time. What I also noticed that I didn't see last week was inside the coils
of the spring on the right front was some sort of a rubber bushing that
looks like it has fallen down from the top of the strut.

I didn't have time to take a close look since I was in a hurry to get the
wheels on my car to go to the airport to pick someone up...

So I've got two questions:

1. anyone know of a source for split CV boots for a '90 90 FWD? (I vaguely
remember trying to find one for my '90 90 once and not getting one before
the clicking started...)

2. is it typical for these struts to self destruct and leave parts lying
around? (I haven't noticed any odd suspension noises)

Thanks in advance for any help.

And for the record:

Stay right except to pass and pay attention to what is going on
around (behind) you on the other hand if you didn't see them coming until
it wasn't safe to change lanes, which can happen to all of us, I have to
agree with the "stay put" safety minded folks.

and

The car making the right turn needs to yield because of the yield
sign. Except, of course, in eastern Massachusetts where we all no that a
yield sign means the other guy better look out cuz here I come...

Here is another puzzler for you. What do you do when you get to the
intersection to make a right turn and there is a red arrow pointing
right? I always sit tight and wait for the little green arrow to light up
but boy does that piss off the people behind me especially the closer I get
to Boston. I figure if they wanted me to make a right turn on red they
would have made it a red light not a red arrow... you don't turn left when
the arrow pointing left is red do you!!!
