The rotor in your pump might be seized. See archives for the discussion
of this topic. The pump has a magnetic coupling between the motor and
the rotor. This magnet attracts all metal and rust particles which flow
with the coolant up to the point when the rotor seizes. I'd check if
your pump actually generates any coolant flow.
