Sort of.. I have seen pads that were used on a warped rotor for a while
become worn in a curve instead of flat. This will keep them from engaging
the new rotor properly.

Had a FLAPS tell me "yes," but no personal experience either way. Seems
reasonable that a curved pad might put more heat on the rotor than it
should, which could cause warping, but I dunno..
