87 1/2 Coupe runs like a dream!

I have a little question though. Yesterday, I noticed that the door handle mechanism
developed some resistance when being locked with the key. As you turn the key, the
resistance increases to the point where you can feel and hear click. As you continue
turning, the resistance drops and the system locks.

I loosened the two screws on the door handle and lubricated the lever mechanism.
The force needed to operate the lever now is minimal. The turn-click-lock problem
persists.

I am wondering if I should attempt to dismantle the whole mechanism in order to
get better access to lube all the components (PITA as I remember).

What part should I check/lube to prevent it from clicking?
