That was going to be my next question. Yes, the power for the pusher fan is tapped off the 12v+ supply for the clutch. It is properly fused (in-line fuse added). I grounded it directly to the body of the car, actually an existing screw in the radiator frame. Could I be robbing too much power from the clutch to allow if to fully clamp? Should I try pulling the fuse to keep the pusher fan from coming on to see if it gets better versus worse? Thoughts?

So you're "robbing" power from the clutch supply line to run the fan? I
don't know anything about electricity, so I don't know whether there's a
limit to how much heavy duty stuff you can run off one lead.
Is the compressor and its attachment to the engine the ground for this
circuit? What'd you do for the ground for the extra fan?
