Have the entire front end looked over by a good Audi mechanic or a
suspension/alignment shop. If you're in MA, I can recommend two
places...Shine Racing Service, in Walpole(I think? I can never
remember) and Donnovan's Alignment in Waltham.
Stick with OE mounts etc; delrin etc will be too hard and noisy.
Also, if the rack's preload adjustment is -really- out of adjustment,
that can cause a loose feeling. Ask a good Audi mechanic to adjust
it for you, or read the Bentley procedure on how to do it yourself.
