89 100Q Parts Car available

 From my other note you may notice there is a parts car available.  A
friend of mine had an unfortunate encounter with a guard rail with his red
'89 100Q.  I did manage to keep him in the Audi fold, he bought a '95 90
quattro.  He would like to see that his old car goes to a worthy cause so
he is looking to sell it as a parts car.  The damage was confined to the
front end and mostly sheet metal:  hood, both fenders, grill and
headlights.  He did drive it the few miles to his house after the
accident.  He didn't have collision insurance.  (And no he wasn't drinking,
he doesn't touch the stuff - just brain fade.)

His best hope is that someone will buy the whole car as is.  It's located
in Enfield, Connecticut which is just off Interstate 91 near the Mass.
border.  I have no idea how much he wants for it.  He always took good care
of it, took it to a local shop and had them fix whatever was wrong since it
was his only car and he couldn't afford for it to break down and leave him
stranded.

If there is any interest, I'll post more details like what he has recently
replaced and more details about the damage.

The car is fixable based on my friends description of the damage, so I
don't want to discourage anyone who wants to do that (I'll even give back
the visor and glove box). But remember, I have not seen the car myself!   YMMV

(Now that I'm thinking about it, where can I get a red hood and 2 red fenders?)
