Wheel bearing replacement on type 89 compared to type 44

I'm about to replace both front wheel bearings on a '89 80q (2-piece
struts). I have the Bentley for the 5000 and 100/200 and a hydraulic
press. Is the procedure significantly different, or can I use the type
44 instructions as a guideline for the bearing work? (I know how to
remove and reinstall the struts)
