Limited Slip Rear Axle?

Just browsing through the friendly family album tonight and noticed some
interesting info...not knowing enough about the internals of differentials,
I am not sure what this means...
Check out the 1990-91 Coupe Quattro rear axle diagram, section 5.  It lists
"limited slip differential"  I am not sure if they are referring to the
locker diff or to a factory-built limited slip that just magically never
made it here.  Am I on crack?
