are 1986/87 5ktq brakes really different from other years?

Two different setups- early '86 5ktq had G54 single piston calipers,
different rotors, different pads. Later '86 and on used G60 twin-piston
calipers.

Looking for some new rotors, calipers, etc to redo the front brakes on
my 86 5ktq most places list rotors for:

77-87 5000 (except turbo)
88-89 5000 turbo
78-85 5000 turbo

Hello?  What about 1986 and 1987 turbo? I thought 86-88 5ktqs were
identical
