I grounded it directly to the body of the car, actually an existing screw in the radiator frame. Could I be robbing too much power from the clutch to allow if to fully clamp? Should I try pulling the fuse to keep the pusher fan from coming on to see if it gets better versus worse? Thoughts?

1. try relaying that fan to make it so it doesn't load the AC circuit
more than necessary... and

2. you shouldn't need it anyway.
