What car to buy in Europe? (Some Audi content)

I can second that opinion about the Seat cars. I just
came back from driving 3000 km in a Seat Leon TDI
(similar to a Golf) and it was a fine small family
car.
Decent power, excellent fuel economy.
It appeared very well put together with better than
average quality material in my opinion.
