So I got the pirated copy (assuming) ETKA from VT and did that (looked up
the part number) only to be told that's a VW part number!
Audi(s) why we put up with them I don't know. Its certainly not the status
of owning one or two or three older ones............

I couldn't be talked down to more at every Audi dealership I've been to
either. (Ira is tops) - although they do have two guys who know their stuff.
Their (IRA) sales lady during a recent car purchase attempt actually changed
her tone of voice towards my wife when she didn't want to spend the extra
10K for the 4.2 A6 (the 2.8 was fine to her)
Their Service scheduling guy with the glasses who was helping me with parts
actually tried to embarrass me when I was cancelling part of my nuts and
bolts repair order because I didn't want to spend $300 on a wheel speed
sensor.
I'm impressed with the Rietzel in Norwell operation but I have no experience
other than being a potential customer there.

And drive a (older) 911 with a baby seat and every kid in their mustang
still wants to race me........ :-)
-Scott in BOSTON disclaimer: I'll probably never buy new/used from an Audi
dealer. Period.
I'll go to Ira in August to see the "audi festival/show" but expect me to go
for all the freebies and swag I can confiscate!

Hi Ken,

one word: ETKA

Looking up the part numbers yourself will eliminate these sorts of
problems and helps out the dealer tremendously
