Hi Tom,

Your car doesn't have a TPS but it does have a potentiometer on the airbox,
and it's connected to the measuring plate AFAIK...
Did you try pulling the codes? Normally you should be able to do so and
they could point to some things that are wrong with it... maybe the knock
sensor?
Is the fuel filter ok?
