Warbling water pump??

I changed 3 pumps trying to get read of wp sound.  First two it was whining.  Third one
sounds like warbling, maybe.  It does noise  in 1200-1400 rpm range.  At least I can hear
it.  Gave up after listers responses saying they also have for years.
