Warbling water pump??

[I changed 3 pumps trying to get read of wp sound.  First two it was
whining.  Third one
sounds like warbling, maybe.  It does noise  in 1200-1400 rpm range.  At
least I can hear
it.  Gave up after listers responses saying they also have for years.

Most likely culprit is the tensioner pully making the noise (like a turkey
gobble) because the water pump tension is too tight.  Common problem.
 Relieve the tension just a tad, or live with the noise until the tensioner
dies(not usual), or possibly will stop making the noise eventually(after
about 10k miles).
