I had thought about that.  Getting warm!

Again:
Adequate fuel to distributor with pump running..can hear fuel recirculating
back to tank.
No fuel to injectors when plate lifted.

More Hints:  Recall I had cleaned much filth, grit, gunk out of the fuel
distributor and throttle body.  Also,  car had been sitting for some time
