'85 4kq no start, no fuel to injectors.

Right - we had already determined there is adequate fuel pressure and csi
is firing.

Assume injectors not clogged. - that is why I pulled more than one.

I had this figured out a few minutes after I sent the post regarding the
problem. It is a normal part of my trouble shooting to email the list when
I have a problem that does not reveal itself right away. It seems to help
lead me to the solution even if I hadn't gotten any replies yet.

What is strange is that the car was running when I got it. After it shut
down, fuel stopped being delivered to the injectors. That made me overlook
this at first.

For those who'd like to take a stab at it, what was it that kept fuel from
getting to the injectors despite their being adequate fuel to the metering
unit?
