'85 4kq no start, no fuel to injectors.

That is why I removed the fuel pump relay and jumpered to run the pump
continuously.  So rule out the fuel pump.

It was a combination of some things under trouble shooting in the Bentley
that led me to find the answer.

BTW - the wiring was a mess and has been cleaned up.  I had already
suspected something with the wiring to the coil, and in fact had to replace
it as it was very corroded and came apart while checking this part of
things.

Another Hint:  The defective part has electical control, althought the fix
was not electrical.
