93-90Q mass air sensor

Hi listers,

I have a '93 90Q, but its manufacturing date is 92.5.
As some of you knew that the "mass air sensor"
(between the air box and the air pipe, aluminum)for
those early '93 model are smaller than the 90Q ('94
and '95 models). I have experienced that my car loss
power after the car has run for half hour, and I heard
from some guys that it would caused by the hot
temperature of the V6 engine. Does anyone did a
modification to insulate the heat from the mass air
sensor since the engine is quite close to it? Would
you tell me the procedures how to modify?
