You might want to test for power at the blinker bulb socket and then check
for a broken wire in the harness where the wires for the trunk lid go off
into the trunk lid. I realize the blinker wire goes to the fender and not
into the trunk lid, but aren't all the wires together just before the
tail/brake/license light wires go into the trunk?
