I agree, as long as you don't get any body damage to your car. Technically,
especially if you're not hell-bent on keeping the car stock, it's a good
DIY proposition and the car is pretty robust and over-engineered. However,
urq-specific trim bits are hard to get already, in a couple of years' time
this situation will be even worse. Bumpers, fenders, wheels... be prepared
for a long search should you need these.
Otherwise, it's as Steve says- go ahead and enjoy it, you'll be
hard-pressed to find a more rewarding car to drive for the money, and it's
a unique type of car with a lot of history. If you find a good one, you'll
enjoy it for years.
