The vacuum pump is installed with the cruise control system, as it is vacuum
operated, so there :). The brake servo is used mainly by means of the vacuum
in the inlet manifold (as you can see even in the picture with the pump), so
if there's any connection between the vacuum hose and the pump, then it
probably just complements the normal behavior?
