I can't get the clairparts.com web site to work, plus I'd have to wait for
shipping.
Local Audi dealer wants $175.07 for the kit, plus they say you must replace
some roller for an additional $41.36 for a total of $216.44 US wow,
thanks soooo much Stammler Porsche - Audi. (vs the $130 somebody listed for
the clair kit)

so, it finally occurred to me, call a VW place. same engine, eh? used the
same part number.....

came up with $166 and they have one in. still $30 more (plus tax, less
shipping - tends to even it out) but I have it now. (car is all ready down
for three days till I get the ECU back from APR)

is there any reason not to get this? (besides it making my wallet sore
paying $36 more than a known source)

At least people get out of my way in the rusty ol' truck. ;-)
