Oh man I hate that seal!  I did mine with out dropping
the tranny, but man was it a bitch!  First drop the
exhaust, unbolt the linkage.  It's also a good time to
replace the ball joint on your shifter while you have
everything dangling there.  Mine failed right about
the time the seal did.  Then have about 10 different
types of picks, a small long srewdriver and a hammer.
The picks are for the first attempt at pulling it out,
the screwdriver and hammer are for when you have to
beat and pry it out.  A corkscrew style seal puller
helps once you get it a little loose.  Of course all
this has to happen without scratching anything.  My
advise, if you think you might need a new clutch
someday, you might want to drop the tranny and do the
clutch and all the seals while it's out.
