I'm sure there are Pep Boys or other parts
stores out there. There's an additive I've been
using for about 5 years called Trans X. Have
recommended it in the past. Anyway, if you have
a bad, bad leak, use the straight Trans X in the
blue metal can. It cleans the seals and allows
them to swell from the oil-not the additive. If
it's a more gentle leak that you can wait on,
use the power steering additive with Trans X in
it. Plain and simple, the stuff works. I've
never bought any Pentosin over the last five
years using this stuff. I had a huge leak on the
last car a qlister ripped me off on. I put the
trans x in straight (blue can, about three
quarters). When I had the tranny pulled a month
later, the rack and boots were actually dusty
with no sign of any previous leakage. I use
Honda power steering fluid.
Trans X is made by CRC industries. I think
they're in Conn. Anyway, Pep Boys, NAPA, and
other chains carry it. If you can't find it, go
to a truck parts supplier. They might carry it
in quarts only. Costs about ~$8/qt
BTW-Bar's leaks doesn't work. I've tried them
all.
Good luck
