[tech] what is g12 - same as GM orange?

Will someone let me know if it's a bad thing to put the new GM Dex-Cool
with my current orange cool-aide?
The guy at the auto parts store said it was the right stuff, but he didn't
sound very confident. He didn't know what G12 was.

Need to get my wife's A4 back on the road for tomorrow or I'm dead meat.
