Olive oil in the fuel tank . . .

The problem with the sludge is that it also contained rather large particles
so I guess the best way is to fill up the tank and then empty it by
syphoning it out, then doing the same once or twice or three times more.

Take care

Pantelis,

I don't know the layout of the fuel tank for the RS2, but if you have access
to the inside of the tank to remove the fuel pump like the type 44 does, I
would suggest you empty the tank. Then reach in and wipe it down as best
you can with a solvent soaked rag, perhaps brake cleaner or something thats
non flammable, yet evaporates very quickly. Just make sure you have a good
fan behind you a few feet away giving you a constant supply of fresh air. I
know if I had this problem with my 5ktq and I had already done what you
have, this is what I would try next. If this didnt work, I would have to
say pulling the tank and flushing all your lines is prolly the next step :(.
