If you do a web search on Dex-cool you'll find lots of people who made
the switch and had bad experiences.  The conclusion I drew from that is
if you have a late model GM car that came with Dex-cool, use it.  Otherwise,
don't.

For our Audis, you can switch to the pink G12 coolant if you flush the system
*really really* well.  The old conventional coolant doesn't mix with the G12.

VW/Audi engines requires phosphate-free coolant.  The old G10/G11 (blue)
and new G12 (pink) factory fill coolant are all phosphate free.  The G12
is based on organic acid technology that gives it very long service life.
