IMHO, my A4 5spoke 16's are on the heavy side, however when I paid $50/ea, =
I decided I could "put-up" with it. Handling greatly improved
with the greater rim width and lower profile tires (i.e. +1), though ride s=
uffered slightly, as did acceleration.

Rim runout for 15's is listed in the Bentley's. It is on the order of less =
than a 1/16th of an inch as I recall (I'm at work) so 3/16 even at best gue=
ss while running the rim on the balancer (i.e. not a specific "measurement"=
 but plenty accurate enough) says the rim is spent.

As for Steamboat. Don't they have the Winter Driving School there? Don't kn=
ow if they have any means to run that in the warmer months (i.e. wetted dow=
n plastic or something), but that also might be worth
checking into.
