' 82 CGT trans code question

[Per Lindgren]

The QF is a 5-speed, was used on 80-82 4k, 80, CGT, Passat, Santana,
Quantum and had the following ratios:

1st: 37/13 2.84:1
2nd: 32/21 1.52:1
3rd: 31/32 0.96:1
4th: 26/37 0.70:1
5th: 22/41 0.53:1
Final: 49/11 4.45:1

I think these were a bit peculiar ratios, 0.53 in 5th seemed a bit tall
to me, but then again, the final drive ratio was quite short. The info
is from the Family Album
