I think the original poster was asking about using the grease on a
connection TO a switch, not within the switch itself.  I don't think
there'd be any problem related to using the grease in the wiring harness
connector to the headlight switch, but I wouldn't expect that to be a spot
(under a cover between the steering wheel and the dash) that gets much
invasion of moisture.
