Uh, yeah, it is.
I just finished rebuilding a '90 VW GLI 16v for my
daily driver , auto-x, track car so I geuss I'm bored
*and* a glutton for punishment. :-)
I'd really like a '91 tqa, but am having trouble
finding a decent one for a decent price. I either
find really nice ones for a ton of cash (like double
blue book value) or cars that probably need $5000
worth of work.
Price range around $10k, will go higher for a car with
a documented history and in good shape. I've found a
pristine one with suspension/stereo mods for $14k and
that's just too high for me, esp when blue book is
$7k...
