I personally love the auxillary air valve. It kind of
goes along with keeping the engine compartment as
simple as possible. The ONLY time I don't like it is
when I'm farting around and leave the ignition on when
the car's cold. Then when you go to start it, the
valve is already warm so no air flows through it.
Nothing 15 seconds of babysitting the throttle doesn't
fix.
Now, back to playing with my new EGT gauge.......OK,
while we're on the subject of tuning all you guys with
similar projects have to get one of these. From my
first readings, I can see that I've got a little more
tuning to do on a motor that appeared to be running
great. BTW, thanks for the info on that Westach EGT
Javad, it works great, and really matches the VDO
gauges!
