Driving a 1991-100, with the headlights on....maybe 10 miles, BTDT.

Driving a 1964 190Dc with burned out generator and absolutly NO
lights.....250+ miles.
(190Dc was a Diesel)

And, may I suggest using an Audi alternator belt and replace the worn
toothed adjusters.
