Overfilling an auto trans can cause the trans oil to be whipped into a froth
much like a hot cup of cappucino. The froth will then be sucked up by the oil
pump which will cause it to cavitate. This could potentially lead to early
trans failure as an oil with air in it dosen't compress like the pure fluid
would and can result in low fluid pressure on the pistons in the trans.
