Brad-
I don't get it- what housings are you talking about? The 4k with the
quad lamps don't need any modification to accept european lamps in the
standard sizes. 165mm rectangular lights will bolt right in, same
dimension
as the sealed beams.

That's the beauty of the "standard" size lamps, ugly as they may be.

If you're talking about going to a Audi 80/90 H4 system that fits flush
to the grille w/ dedicated headlamps to your car, then I can't help.

Also, if you're just talking about the headlamps themselves, just go
with
the common makes- Hella makes decent standard size H4 headlamps,
although
the general opinion here is the Cibie makes better ones, although much
more
difficult to find. Any of your common VW/Audi places usually carry the
Hella
H4 lamps. I don't suggest you get anything of lesser quality, like the
JC Whitney stuff.

I also don't know if there is any sort of waterproof grommet or
something you
can use to better seal the connectors w/ the H4 lamps- I've done this w/
my
old truck, never thought too much about waterproofing and such at the
time,
beyond electrical tape. :-O

I know I already posted this topic, sorry for the repeat.

I am looking to upgrade my current 4 lamp sealed beam system to an H4 4
lamp system, the low will change to low/highs.

I am looking for a good source for the housings, I can easily find the
bulbs and do the wiring. I remember there are some cheap housings and
some decent housing. I think the total for the decent housings was
around $80 or so. I am just looking for the source.

Thanks in advance.

Brad
